Luke 18:8 " style="vertical-align: text-top;" />
In the Next few paragraph, let's try to answer the question of whether Jesus will find Truth in any Human Being when He comes the Second Time
Let’s begin by reading Jeremiah 5:1 “Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.”
Here in this verse we find God searching for anyone who is seeking for the Firm Truth but does not find any one in Jerusalem itself. Now what's special of Jerusalem? Jerusalem is God’s own city; it’s a Holy city; a city where God’s presence is felt; it’s the city where God’s temple was present. So how do you expect God’s own city to have been? My personal opinion is that God would have expected Jerusalem to be a mini Heaven itself; that is the reason why God wept when he saw Jerusalem as explained in Matt 23:37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!. “ Jesus cried because Jerusalem should have been the place where Truth would have had to been proclaimed, reflected, accepted and dwelt in Jerusalem; A place where Truth should have been followed completely; A place which should have stood as a witness for the Truth. God kept Jerusalem as the center place for the whole world so that the whole world should follow Jerusalem but Jerusalem did not do as per God’s will. When God sent the Truth through many prophets they killed them and finally when Truth itself came in the form of Jesus they killed Him also.
This is the same scenario with the current Christian world. Jesus bought His people with His own precious blood. He suffered and was put to shame, all this for our salvation.
In Antioch God’s people where first called as Christians because they were witness to God and had the character of God in them and followed God’s truth completely; the other heathens saw Jesus in these Christian’s life. But today can anyone see a Christian who is reflecting Jesus 100%; how many Christians follow God’s truth completely as written in the Bible? Not many i.e. why Jesus says in Luke 18:8 “…when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”.
Why did God says so? Especially in these last days while we are awaiting Jesus second coming!! In today’s world we find thousands of denominations, thousands of individual churches, thousands of ministers, thousands of ministers claiming to have the power to perform miracles and prophecy, millions of Christians, powerful Christian nations but God still asks “Shall he find faith on the earth?”? Are we reflecting God's character? Unfortunately God does not think so. Therefore if you are preparing for God's Kingdom pray that God provides you with His own Character. Ensure you are a transformed person.
